Caring for a child with a disability can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging. At Touch Intercultural Support for Women, Youth and Children with Disability Foundation, we understand that mothers are often the primary caregivers — and they deserve support, strength, and community. This program is dedicated to walking alongside mothers as they navigate care, advocacy, and personal well-being.
What We Do:
Emotional & Peer Support: We facilitate regular support group meetings and one-on-one counseling sessions to help mothers connect, share, and heal.
Access to Resources: We help link families with essential services like healthcare, assistive devices, special education referrals, and therapy.
Empowerment & Livelihoods: Mothers are given access to training in vocational and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to earn sustainable incomes while managing their family responsibilities.
Awareness & Advocacy: We equip mothers to become advocates for their children’s rights within the health, education, and policy systems.
Why It Matters:
Mothers are the backbone of families and communities. When they are informed, emotionally supported, and economically empowered, children thrive. Our work helps reduce stigma, build confidence, and promote inclusive family well-being.
